Fair vs. Light
If you're deciding between Fair and Light, choose Light if you prefer a little more warmth and color in your complexion.
Why:
Slightly warmer or deeper shades add dimension and prevent the skin from looking too flat or washed out—especially in sheer, skin-like formulas.
Light vs. Medium
Light is our most popular shade. If you're unsure, we recommend choosing Light and adding bronzer or blush for extra warmth if desired.
Why:
With flexible, blendable formulas, it's often better to start slightly lighter and build warmth where you want it.
Medium vs. Dark
If you feel you're between Medium and Dark, we recommend choosing Medium for the most natural, seamless match.

Our Dark shade is more richly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. You can also blend two shades together to create your perfect custom match.
A NOTE ON OUR DARK SHADE
Deeper shades require more pigment to achieve true, even color payoff. Our Dark shade is more concentrated — so a little goes a long way in terms of pigment, while the formula is designed to be applied evenly for proper SPF coverage.
